==== Description ====
The **Earthroot** is a plant that can grow from [[en:rpd:earthroot_seed_item|Earthroot Seeds]]. When stepped on or touched, it provides the [[en:rpd:barkskin_buff|Barkskin]] buff to the creature that touches it, giving temporary armor equal to the character's strength.

==== Mechanics ====
  * When a creature touches the plant, it receives the [[en:rpd:barkskin_buff|Barkskin]] buff
  * The plant is destroyed after being touched
  * The Barkskin buff provides armor equivalent to the character's strength for a limited time

==== Usage ====
  * **Strategic Placement:** Plant Earthroot seeds in locations where you plan to stay defensively
  * **Emergency Protection:** Useful when facing difficult enemies if you can retreat to the plant's location
  * **Alchemy Ingredient:** The plant itself can be harvested for crafting purposes
